eNSEMBLES
marching band
The Pride of the Lost Pines Marching band is our largest ensemble. This group performs at all varsity football games, and several festivals and UIL contests throughout the season.
concert bands
Our band program has three concert ensembles. The Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Concert Band. Each concert group perform for a winter, spring, Pre- UIL concerts, and at the UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluations each year.
jazz band
Our Jazz band is made up of trumpets, trombones, saxophones, and rhythm section. Our students in this ensemble dedicate extra time outside of the school day to perform with this group. Members of the Jazz Band participate in the region jazz auditions, perform at local concerts, and attend various jazz festivals.
color guard
The Color Guard performs as the primary visual component of the marching band in the fall, and in the spring they split into two groups to prepare an indoor production set to recorded music, in an activity known as Winterguard.
